How it all began
Kathleen and Udo Wahl came to Namibia in 1995 on the invitation of the Namibian mission organisation Gospel Outreach to establish, organise and run the Gospel Outreach Christian Leadership School. The aim was and is to train, equip and send out young leaders to the churches in Namibia and Africa. From these beginnings, the Imkerhof Training Centre has grown and developed.
Who are we?
Udo Wahl comes from Germany. After a spell in the German Army he completed his tertiary education, taking a degree in civil administration, and became a local authority and government administrator.
Kathleen Wahl is originally from Scotland, where she studied for a degree in music, becoming a professional orchestral musician.

Timeline
1995 - Kathleen and Udo Wahl arrive in Namibia.
1996 - Gospel Outreach Christian Leadership School is Established at Windhoek.
1999 - Christian Leadership School is relocated to Imkerhof and Imkerhof Training Centre is established with the opening of the Imkerhof International Christian Fellowship.
2000 - Imkerhof Care and Compassion Ministry is inaugurated.
